Rockett Pedals Chicken Soup Overdrive

The Chicken Soup Overdrive is aimed at the Nashville crowd. This guitar pedal gives you that extremely transparent "twanky" tone. Great for Teles and Strats. Think ODR-1, but improved. This overdrive pedal is very simple, but very effective. The Chicken Soup Overdrive is extremely quiet with true bypass just like all of Rockett pedals.

The Chicken Soup Overdrive is a pretty self explanatory pedal with simple controls and simple application. It has the standard volume, gain and tone knobs.

It is recommended that you start with all control knobs at 12:00. This overdrive pedal is very easy to find good sounds with.

If you back off the gain and increase the volume say hello to the classic country tones you hear all over Nashville.

With the gain up you can get pretty scorching and compressed lead tones.

Great for Teles and Strats, but equally beasty with Les Paulʼs and humbuckers. This is a very smooth OD, you can almost hear D....mble...ish tones if you try hard enough.......ok.....you donʼt have to try hard at all.

All Rockett Pedals operate off of the standard type 9v adapter, like our 9VPS, or a single 9v battery. The power input is a 5.5 mm x 2.1 mm jack wit the positive voltage on the outer sleeve. Using an external power supply will disconnect the battery. Disconnect the input jack to preserve battery life when not in use or when not used with an appropriate external power supply.
